Visiting Assistant Professor, Anthropology

Position Summary:

The Department of Anthropology at Rollins College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology. We seek applicants with a PhD in Medical Anthropology and extensive experience in public health or a terminal degree in public health. Geographical area of specialization is open.

Applicants must be able to teach courses for both the Anthropology Department and our Global Health Program. Candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in cultural and medical anthropology, global health, and public health; other possible courses might include epidemiology and elective courses related to their specialty, in addition to classes for Rollins’ general education program. We also seek applicants who share our commitment to community engagement and social justice.

Applicants must have PhD in hand by September 1, 2021. Teaching experience is preferred.
