The Center for Applied Social Research is an interdisciplinary research center that harnesses the methods of social science to find solutions to real world problems. We seek a Postdoctoral Researcher to collaborate in community engaged health projects with rural tribal and non-tribal communities.
We seek a candidate who is a productive writer with a strong research orientation, and who can work both collaboratively as well as independently. Position activities include participating in interdisciplinary teams, data collection and analysis, manuscript production, proposal writing, and community outreach.
This is a two-year position with the potential to grow into a longer term career.

Ph.D. or equivalent degree
Social science and/or health background preferred
Familiarity with qualitative and/or mixed method research methods
Interest or experience in working collaboratively with rural tribal and non-tribal communities
Strong academic writing ability/track record of productive writing and/or publication
