The dynamic and driven team at Environmental Research Group, LLC's Norman, Oklahoma office is seeking a Senior Archaeologist and Project Manager with the expertise and collaborative leadership to manage projects, mentor teams, and deliver top-tier cultural resource management (CRM) solutions in the Sooner State and beyond.

Salary ranges from $75-90,000, commensurate with experience. Bonuses are offered for exceptional performance. The dynamic and driven team at Environmental Research Group, LLC's Norman, Oklahoma office is seeking a Senior Archaeologist and Project Manager with the expertise and collaborative leadership to manage projects, mentor teams, and deliver top-tier cultural resource management (CRM) solutions in the Sooner State and beyond.
What You'll Do:
- Lead archaeological surveys, testing, and data recovery projects with confidence and integrity.
- Prepare and oversee regulatory and administrative communication, including background studies, field reporting, and client and staff correspondence.
- Solve complex challenges through careful analysis and problem-solving.
- Work directly with other Oklahoma office senior staff - including Oklahoma Office Manager - to provide clear and decisive leadership, fostering collaboration and growth within the team.
- Ensure every project meets compliance standards with unwavering attention to detail.
What You Bring:
- A Master's or Ph.D. in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- 10 years of CRM experience, including project management and team leadership.
- Leadership-level experience with transportation undertakings strongly preferred.
- A passion for the cultural history of the Southeast, Southern Plains, and/or related region(s).
- Strong communication skills to convey findings and guide multidisciplinary projects.
