Position Number: 112170 Position Title (Classification Title): Assistant Director 112170, Faculty Administrator Working Title: Assistant Director, Archaeology Institute Job Summary: Assistant Director will work with the Director to oversee the faculty, staff, and activities of several sub-units of the Archaeology Institute, including Marine Services Center, Collections, and the Institute. The incumbent will coordinate the uses of and access to Institute resource and will conduct annual reviews of Institute faculty and staff and report activities in an annual report to the Director. Department Archaeology Institute FLSA: Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Anthropology or appropriate area of specialization from an accredited institution and six years of experience advising, teaching, mentoring or significantly interacting with college students. Position Qualifications: An MA from an accredited institution in Anthropology or closely related discipline with a demonstrated record of achievement in project management, assessment, academic research, and service. Preferred Qualifications PhD preferred (current and active enrollment in doctoral program acceptable) Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job:
This position requires a criminal background screen.
