Job description
Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering & architectural design. Trileaf serves the wireless communications, real estate, financial and petroleum industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S.
Trileaf is seeking a full time, SOI-Qualified, Project Archaeologist in the Midwestern United States to be based out of the St. Louis, Missouri Office. This individual should have at least 2 years of field experience and applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically related to telecommunications projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion of SHPO file reviews for above and below ground cultural resources, unsupervised Phase I archaeological surveys, construction monitoring, and cultural resource report writing/production. Travel to project sites may include overnight stays. Overall travel requirements average about 2 days a week.

Qualifications and Skills

- Master's degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
- SOI Qualified
- Experience holding and fulfilling antiquities permits
- Capable of field work
- Ability and willingness to travel (travel typically not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
- Flexible and adaptable
- Good computer skills
- Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Valid Driver License
