Opening for Visiting Assistant Professor for the Academic Years 2025-26 and 2026-27.
The Department of Anthropology at Emory University invites applications for a two-year appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) specializing in some aspect of Medical Anthropology. The VAP will teach five undergraduate courses a year, including large enrollment sections of foundation-level medical anthropology, foundational courses in general anthropology, and electives in courses related to medical anthropology. They will teach three courses in one semester and two in the other. One of the five courses may be offered over the summer.
Salary for VAP's is $55,000 annually, with benefits.
