Job Summary:
The Department of Anthropology is seeking a part-time instructor to teach an undergraduate course in the Spring 2025 semester.
Job Description:
The exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair or Director.
Course description: This course focuses on some of the current conditions of life on planet Earth and considers the socio-economic, political, and cultural forces that created these conditions. It also focuses on how we, as scholars, citizens, activists, relatives, and friends can work to alter these current conditions in ways that foster social and ecological justice for all living beings.
Strong candidate already identified.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications: Terminal degree in related discipline, strongly preferred.
Course Pay Rate: $12,500
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
