Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a regular full-time Archaeologist to be based out of our Flagstaff, Arizona office.
Responsibilities Include:
Working as a crew member on archaeological cultural resources surveys, monitoring, and excavation projects throughout Arizona and adjacent states, while assisting with laboratory work (e.g., washing and inventorying artifacts), and technical report writing/preparation.

This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $45,760 to $54,080 annually, depending on experience and education.

Position Requires:
- Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or related field.
- Successful completion of archaeological field school.
- 1+ years of cultural resources management (CRM) experience.
- Possess a good understanding and ability to identify archaeological features and artifacts during cultural resources survey, monitoring, and excavation fieldwork.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and in remote locations (camping is a possibility).
- Ability to walk up to 10 miles per day over steep terrain for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work overnight and on weekends.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and work cooperatively in a team-oriented setting.
Compensation:
This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $45,760 to $54,080 annually, depending on experience and education.
