Position Title: Adjunct Anthropology
Department: Sociology & Anthropology
Campus Location: Washburn University

Position Summary: Washburn University's department of Sociology and Anthropology is inviting applications for adjunct positions beginning Spring 2025.
Essential Functions:
Teach AN114 Introduction to Archaeology, online. Kansas residency preferred, but not required.
OR
Teach AN113 Linguistic Anthropology, in-person.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10:00AM-10:50AM or Tuesday & Thursday 2:30PM-3:45PM (Class time can be modified if needed).
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Anthropology or closely related field, or a master's degree in another field with 18 graduate credit hours of course work in Anthropology.
The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to pursuing teaching excellence at Washburn University, including a dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage students from all backgrounds.
