Operations Administrator - Anthropology
Arts & Science is seeking a dynamic Operations Administrator to join the Department of Anthropology. This individual will supervise the IT, Facilities, and Procurement needs within the Department of Anthropology; assist with building and computing safety, compliance and upgrades, including laboratory, classroom, office and meeting spaces.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree with a background in science or technology preferred.
Required Experience:
3+ years Including experience in a laboratory environment, budget management and maintenance and repair of computer software and hardware or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to negotiate contracts. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, G-Drive Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud and antivirus software.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
