Position Summary
The Subject Matter Expert, General Education will develop content and provide feedback on general education products that align with learning objectives in distance education instruction by incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in the discipline.

Collaborates within the Nightingale Innovations Learning Design and Innovations curriculum function to develop and refine course content for General Education. General Education courses include:
- English - Composition, Creative Writing, Oral Communication, Professional and Academic Writing
- Humanities - Anthropology, Ethics, Western Civilization
- Mathematics - College Algebra, Statistics
- Psychology and Sociology
- Science - Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Pathophysiology
Current Need:
Cultural Anthropology Subject Matter Experts
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Earned Graduate degree with a major in subject listed above (English, Humanities) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five years of curriculum development or delivery experience at an institution of higher education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and adult education.
- Mastery in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and other technology platforms related to the delivery of online nursing education.
