The Sociology & Anthropology department is seeking applicants for a full-time visiting position for the Spring 2024 semester.

An ideal candidate will have a sociology degree at the graduate level and has experience and/or enthusiasm for teaching college undergraduates, although other experiences and backgrounds may also be considered.

Courses to be taught in this position during the spring 2024 semester are:

Technology and Society (2 sections)

Sociology of Work

Social Research Methods: Implementation and Design

Modest class sizes (less than 25 students per class) in a small, supportive department with a track record of successfully mentoring and supporting new faculty in developing effective, creative pedagogy and strategies for work-life balance.

This position may potentially extend into the following academic year and beyond.
