Oxford College of Emory University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor or visiting instructor in Biological Anthropology beginning in August 2024. This is a one-year, benefits eligible position with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years based on performance, ongoing curricular need, and budgetary approval. The teaching load will be three courses per semester and will include multiple sections of a course that presents an introduction to evolutionary processes and biological bases of behavior, at least one section of a lab-based course in methods of bioanthropology, and a course elective that can contribute to programs in anthropology and/or behavioral biology (e.g., primate behavior, evolution of social behavior, bioarcheology). We seek candidates to join our vibrant campus who have a commitment to teaching and mentoring a diverse population of motivated undergraduates in a residential liberal arts environment.
