Job Details
The Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Colgate University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position in anthropological archaeology, beginning fall semester 2024. Regional specialization open.
Strong candidates should be able to teach Introduction to Archaeology and electives in their areas of specialization. Candidates with prior teaching experience and with the ability to teach courses such as Archaeology of Warfare, Environmental Archaeology, Archaeology of Race and Ethnicity, or Archaeology of Gender are preferred. Completion of Ph.D. in Anthropology is required prior to or shortly after the date of hire.
