Position Summary:
The https://www.rollins.edu/anthropology/ at Rollins College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology, beginning August 2024. The successful candidate will teach core courses for the Anthropology program as well as electives drawn from the candidate's area of specialization. Topical and geographical foci are open but special consideration will be given to candidates with research interests in Africa or Asia. We seek applicants who share our commitment to community engagement and social justice.

Minimum Qualifications and Education:
• PhD or ABD in Anthropology.
• Undergraduate teaching experience in at least a Teaching Assistant capacity with potential to excel in the classroom.
• Understanding that a liberal arts education includes a student-centered undergraduate experience.
• Ability to effectively educate and mentor a diverse student population.
• Ability to contribute to and sustain a diverse and inclusive learning and working environment at Rollins.
