We seek a specialist whose scholarship is empirically based in the Anthropology of Human-Environment Interactions, to include Health, Well-being, Health Systems and Medicine, Disaster, and Multispecies Ethnography. We invite applications from scholars with a strong publication record on topics potentially including health and medical outcomes related to society, culture, and the environment; syndemics and health disparities; modern and traditional/Indigenous health; or climate change, human trafficking, violence, migration, and natural/human-made disasters. Applicants should have an established record of original research, funding, teaching, and publication, and be able to express how undergraduate and graduate students can engage in similar efforts going forward. The successful candidate will join a department in which faculty conduct research in archaeology, linguistics, biological anthropology, and cultural anthropology, and should be eager to collaborate across (sub)fields.
