Description:
- Archaeologist, 3-5 years of archaeological field work experience - Experience in archaeological field work, archaeological compliance, Phase I archaeological surveys, Phase II testing - Experience with construction monitoring - Can have Bachelors Degree in anthropology/archaeology or a related discipline KEY AREAS OF FOCUS - Execution of successful Phase I archaeological surveys, Phase II testing, and data recovery - Construction compliance monitoring, Phase I and II - Construction monitoring - Contributing to the preparation of archaeological reports - Ability to travel and conduct field work for extended periods of time - Field work varies from out of state and backpacking in the field to being in downtown LA - They have travel coordinators that provide hotel / travel arrangements DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES - Construction monitoring on archaeological job sites - Archeological field work (Phase I and II)
