Cultural Monitor, Archaeologist

Tierra Environmental Services is looking for an Archaeological Monitor for a pipeline under grounding project in Lake Isabella CA. The monitor will be in charge of monitoring ground disturbance for the presence of cultural resources and stopping work if resources are encountered. There may also be supplementary survey, excavation, and resource evaluation duties depending on the experience and abilities of the applicant.
Additional $130 per day in Per Diem

Required:

-Bachelor's (or higher) in Anthropology or Archaeology with previous Cultural Resource Management (CRM) experience, preferably within California.

-Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.

-The ability to stand for long periods of time, walk over uneven terrain, and follow worksite safety rules.
