Summary:

The https://www.rollins.edu/anthropology/ at Rollins College invites applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology, 4-4 teaching load, beginning August 2023. We seek applicants who share our commitment to community engagement and social justice.

Minimum Qualifications and Education:

• PhD or ABD Anthropology.
• Undergraduate teaching experience in at least a Teaching Assistant capacity with potential to excel in the classroom.
• Demonstrates an understanding that a liberal arts education includes a student-centered undergraduate experience.
• Shows potential to effectively educate and mentor a diverse student population. Articulates the ability to contribute to and sustain a diverse and inclusive learning and working environment at Rollins.
• Ability to teach Language, Culture, and Society (introductory linguistic anthropology) and other cultural anthropology courses related to applicant's expertise.
