Resident Assistant Professor - (Cultural and Social Studies, Anthropology)
The Department of Cultural and Social Studies strives for excellence in all its programs. We are seeking a Resident Assistant Professor in Anthropology to join the Department of Cultural and Social Studies, to teach foundational anthropology courses in social theory and qualitative methods. This is a nontenure-track resident assistant professor position with a one-year appointment beginning August 2023 . The candidate will be expected to teach four classes each semester. A Ph.D. in Anthropology (or a closely related field) is preferred, ABD will be considered. The ideal person for this role is committed to being an outstanding teacher within a primarily undergraduate institution.

Evidence of excellent college level teaching.
Ability to foster student learning, development, and decision making in support of their goals, success, wellness, and needs
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly and effectively with a diversity of populations
