Specifically, we seek applicants with a record of both applied ethnographic research and policy work which interrogates how work-related burdens (namely transient and uncertain lifestyles, discrimination and hazardous working conditions, including pesticide exposure and other occupational injuries) contribute to health disparities among Mexican/Latino migrant, seasonal farmworkers in the US South. Extensive ethnographic fieldwork experience working directly with Latino immigrant farmworkers is required. Professional policy experience serving on the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health is preferred.
