ESI seeks a full-time Senior Principal Investigator to complement its Cultural Resources Group program. As part of the team, the successful candidate is responsible for timely and cost-effective conception, implementation, and completion of projects in addition to design and implementation of effective research designs within scheduling and budget constraints. Exceptional organizational and record keeping skills are imperative to successfully manage multiple archaeological projects concurrently, satisfying client requirements and maintaining professional and company standards and ethics. Providing sufficient and complete information to team members and coordinating project input from staff and subcontractors is required. Must have experience with a broad range of cultural resource projects including, but not limited to, the energy sector. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the field work, report preparation and content, National Register evaluation recommendations, preliminary evaluations of project effects, cultural resource management recommendations, and proper curation of project artifacts and records at an approved curation facility.

The successful candidate's expertise includes day-to-day, hands-on management and participation with a keen eye for quality and completeness. Demonstrated communication excellence, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively supervise people are requisite. This position requires up to 30% travel outside the local area, often overnight, and reports directly to the Cultural Resources Group Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

* M.A. in Anthropology or related field
* CRM project management experience
* 8 plus years of report writing experience
* Project-specific budget development, personnel assignments, and scheduling
* Understanding of scope of work, using professional expertise for managing cultural resources, and providing a high-quality work product on time and on budget.
* Set realistic research goals achievable within cost and time constraints.
* Develops professional recommendations for the management of cultural resources, particularly archaeological resources, using the National Register of Historic Places and other applicable criteria.
* Organize and complete project-specific reports.
* Implement quality control/quality assurance procedures.
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Able to pass all pre-hire screenings
* Possess a valid driver's license
* Relevant field experience a plus

Location:

* The Senior Principal Investigator can either work remotely OR from an existing ESI office.

Compensation:

* $75,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent on qualifications
