For over 150 years, the American Museum of Natural History in NYC has been dedicated to discovering, interpreting, and disseminating - through scientific research and education - knowledge about human cultures, the natural world, and the universe. We are looking for a creative, talented, and energetic colleague to join the American Museum of Natural History as a part-time Biological Anthropology Educator to teach science to New York City children and youth in museum programs.
The Biological Anthropology Educator will primarily work with students aged 12 to 21; however, may have the opportunity to work with younger children (age 2 to 11). The Educator may also be asked to write new curricula and revise existing curriculum as the opportunity arises.
Teaching schedules may change from season to season but candidates must be available on Thursdays and Fridays until 7pm and Saturdays from 9am - 4pm.
