    The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Kingsborough Community College seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses at the Lecturer rank within the Anthropology Program and related disciplines with a focus on cultural anthropology, urban anthropology, equity issues and qualitative research methods. Candidate would be able to teach introductory courses in Anthropology as well as elective courses in race and ethnicity and/or social problems, and research methods with an expected teaching load of eight classes (or 24 credits) per year. In addition to teaching, the candidate is expected to perform student advisement and curriculum improvement as well as serve on departmental and college committees.


    Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Master's degree preferred; Ph.D. highly preferred
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.



    $51, 021 - $91,027. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
