Position: UX Researcher
Location: WFH during Covid-19
Starts: Within 2+ weeks
Duration: 12+ Months
Status: Freelance (40 hours a week)
Rate: $67/hr. - $88/hr. (DOE)
The Bay Area's top video-sharing giant is seeking a UX Researcher to assist their team.
Top Responsibilities:
-Collaborate closely with, or conduct, research to validate concepts, and communicate results to the teams.
-Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of how users experience online search.
-Collect and analyze user behavior through server logs, online experiments (A/B testing), benchmark studies, lab studies, and surveys.
Ideal Qualifications:
-An advanced degree preferred in computer science, human computer interaction, cognitive science, experimental psychology, anthropology, information science or related field.
-At least 5 years of work experience in an applied research setting.
-Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
-Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
