Job Details

We are looking to hire a strong User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our team ASAP! The ideal candidate has to have multiple years of UX Research experience on a high traffic consumer-facing site/application!

WHAT YOU WILL DO -
  • Help your team of Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers understand user needs and map out the jobs to be done.
  • Work with stakeholders across functions and levels and have an impact at all stages of product development
  • Explore user behaviors and motivations by conducting primary research such as field studies, interviews, diary studies, participatory workshops, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, and log analysis
  • Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences
  • Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs, and online experiments (A/B testing)
  • Work with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations

WHAT YOU HAVE -
  • 4+ years of research experience in a customer-centric consumer product development environment.
  • Mastery of a comprehensive toolkit of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and ability to come up with creative research solutions as needed

- Experience identifying user jobs-to-be-done and decomposing them into job maps to uncover product opportunities
  • Experience collecting and analyzing user behavior through survey design, data validation, and experimentation (A/B testing)
  • Great storytelling with keen abilities to clearly, concisely, and persuasively communicate findings verbally and in writing
  • Proven track record of impactful research that drives great insights and user experiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of solid connections and successful cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic research questions based on business needs and priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Anthropology, Information Science, or in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Uncovering user behaviors, needs, and motivations in order to design products and services that provide value is crucial to user experience research and design
