The Role:

McCann Worldgroup is seeking a Global Strategist/Analyst to join McCann Worldgroup Truth Central, the global thought leadership unit of McCann Worldgroup. We're looking for a talented self-starter to join our team and support our mission to become the world's leading expert in business intelligence and consumer research.

You will be a critical member of the Truth Central team, not only helping to manage global custom research studies but also uncovering consumer insights and helping to formulate recommendations for brands. You will be involved in every step of the research process from fieldwork through to analysis and client workshops. Previous experience in research or comfort working with large datasets is required.

What You Will Do:

The Global Strategist/Analyst for McCann Worldgroup will be required to be a:
  • Data explorer: Comfortable manipulating large data sets to find the truths beneath the surface
  • Truth Central coordinator: Liaise with local teams in over 100 markets to leverage market expertise, gather qualitative research, and build relationships for future research projects
  • Brand ambassador: Support Truth Central by contributing to social media, newsletter, and other external communication outlets
  • Content strategist: Manage projects and facilitate new ideas for activating our content in the world

  • Who You Will Be:

    To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:

    Key Skills
    • Has an insatiable appetite for the latest trends in technology and society
    • Is tech savvy and familiar the latest tech platforms (including but not limited to Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, WeChat, etc.)
    • A passion for research and data
    • Has excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Enjoys storytelling and has interesting experiences to share
    • Has a strong work ethic and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Experience Guidelines:

    Must have:
    • Bachelors degree
    • 2-3 years experience in management consulting, journalism, data analytics, or research
    • Is proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Is comfortable working with data analysis software: SPSS, R, pivot tables
    • Has some experience with business intelligence dashboards: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau

    Preferred:
    • Writing experience (e.g., blogging, student newspaper)
    • Background in psychology, economics, statistics, sociology or anthropology
    • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Keynote
