Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Archaeological Intern for employment in the Burlington, NJ office.
This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide lab support to cultural resource projects throughout the US
- he Archaeological Intern will have Performs routine fieldwork (including pedestrian survey, shovel testing, test unit excavation, feature excavation, artifact collection, field notes), working under close supervision.
- Performs routine tasks in support of project staff and handles less complex duties.
- Performs routine lab tasks (including washing, labeling, and data entry), working under close supervision.
- Performs routine office tasks (including data tables, site forms), working under close supervision.
Minimum Requirements
- In pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related studies
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant field work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques
- Ability to identify Precontact and Historical artifacts and process (wash, catalog and mark) recovered archaeological artifacts
