Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldSocio-Cultural and Geospatial Support AnalystPAE's Center for Analytic Innovation (a component of CENTRA Technology) provides analytic, consulting, and staffing support to U.S. Government national security agencies and similar Government clients. PAE provides a range of Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Commercial analytic and operational support, risk analysis, analytic outreach, red teaming, and event support services. The Center for Analytic Innovation is seeking a Socio-Cultural and Geospatial Support Analyst. The Analyst will be expected to carry out duties across the intelligence cycle, including all source research, developing and understanding requirements, producing multiple product types, and disseminating analysis through a variety of platforms. The primary work location is in the VA-DC Metro area; limited client-approved telework days are allowed every month. The duties and responsibilities listed below are not mutually exclusive.Core responsibilities of the position include:Utilize quantitative and qualitative mixed methodologies to provide geospatial and socio-cultural analysis support to a global Counterterrorism missionConducting qualitative and quantitative open-source analysis on data of interest to the customerConceptualizing, drafting, and briefing analytic and informational products on topics that support the mission of the USGTagging data, summarizing data, and maintaining a repository of collected dataSupporting daily, weekly, and monthly production requirementsTracking and responding to requests for information (RFI) from customer leadership and staff and other stakeholdersMandatory qualifications include:US Top Secret security clearance required at time of applicationExcellent writing and briefing skillsA deep interest in world cultures, current events, and cartographyDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance and in small dynamic teams often under time-constraints Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred qualifications:Foreign-language research skillsBA or higher in GIS, geography, anthropology, sociology, history, or a similar field +4 years of relevant experience in the Intelligence Community as a contractor or Government employeeSome degree of exposure to ESRI's ArcGIS mapping software or a similar GIS application Experience using a variety of open source and intelligence tradecraft to identify emerging trends or important developmentsExperience writing intelligence analytic products that meet the needs of USG clients#APP21PAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
