Overview:
Seeking Design Researchers at multiple levels to deliver research in support of design and product development.
Responsibilities:
Design and conduct compelling research experiences that generate actionable insights - from foundational research to concept and usability testing to drive product direction.
Synthesize and deliver relevant research findings impactful for design and product development through a variety of formats such as insights, decks, stories, videos, and experiences.
Collaborate with design and product teams to create design and product concepts and recommendations.
Ensure research deliverables are high quality and meet the established standards and guidelines.
Work closely with partners, including designers, product managers, project managers and engineers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social, behavioral, or cognitive sciences, such as Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Cultural Studies, or Design.
0 - 4 years of work and/or education experience applying research insights to products and services.
0 - 4 years of work and/or education experience of using human-centered design, design thinking principles or methods in a formal, in-person setting.
A robust understanding of industry-standard design research methods including ethnographic methods, in-depth interviews, evaluative methods (e.g. concept testing, in-lab/remote usability testing, tree testing, etc.), and quantitative methods (surveys, behavioral analytics, etc.).
Strong communication skills and ability to build and sustain internal and external partnerships.
