Salary range $225K + bonus

Key to this role is having solid experience in driving positive technology experiences through communication, and contributing to the development and execution of an enterprise-wide IT transformation and digital strategy.

Experience
  • Minimum of a bachelor's or graduate degree in communications, journalism, anthropology, or related fields which support the leader's ability to understand and drive positive technology experiences through communication.
  • The role requires a level of technical understanding and communications, the ideal candidate will have a balance of education and work experience that complements these two core domains.
  • Seven or more years of professional experience in strategic and operational communications, technology and IT change management, and related areas
  • Three or more years of leadership responsibilities, including user experience, executive communications, and change management
  • Three or more years of experience in Life Science or related industry
  • Demonstrated experience in leading IT change management programs
  • Demonstrated experience in developing executive communications and presentations
  • Experience in communicating IT transformational programs
  • Experience with MS Office/Office365, Sharepoint, Adobe software, content management systems, and email marketing software.
NOTE: This is a senior role within IT & Digital (IT&D) department responsible for the vision and execution of our customer experience and change management globally. We are looking for a strategic communications leader, one who cares about user experience, someone with IT domain knowledge, a leader who can drive change management to support key programs and strategies, from IT&D to our business users and executive team.

The leader is responsible for ensuring a high degree of clarity, communication and change management for the many key programs supported by the IT&D organization. This includes the oversight of all change management programs and communications for large deployments as well as driving the change management and communication of our IT&D Transformation plan.

Lastly this role will be instrumental in improving senior leadership communications to our Executive Committee and Board to ensure messages and strategies are crisply shared through engaging visuals and limited text.

Responsibilities
  • Sets the mission, vision, and strategy of the IT User Experience & Change Management organization to maximize the success of our IT&D organization in supporting and enabling our business.
  • Introduces innovative, differentiating methods of establishing and maintaining strong and positive experiences across all IT&D functions
  • Provides leadership and hands-on support of the many change management programs such as our Digital Ambition, IT&D Transformation, ERP program, and more.
  • Manages contract or employee resources (future) to support both UX and Change programs
  • Works with the IT&D senior leadership team on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources and investment to support UX, Change Management, Communications and Training
  • Acts as a "Chief of Staff" to the SVP, Global Head of IT&D to support executive communications and presentation on strategy, program updates or operations.
