    About the role

Research has been central to our product development and business strategy since the very beginning - and our team continues to grow, along with our user base and product. Working with marketing and product teams at Robinhood, you'll help us systematically understand how people interact with financial products and how they think and feel about money.

We're looking for multiple marketing researchers to join our growing research team. You'll help us understand customer needs, brand sentiment, and competitive insights while also helping to develop marketing and communications strategies that drive customer engagement and growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves collaboration, and is curious and flexible.

This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park, New York, or remote.

    Your day-to-day will involve:

Planning and leading marketing research projects end-to-end, including strategic, foundational, iterative, and evaluative research to achieve our marketing objectives
Proactively and independently identifying high-impact research opportunities around customer needs, attitudes, and engagement
Translating insights into recommendations that drive brand sentiment, communications, marketing strategy, user acquisition, retention, and engagement
Integrating alternate data sources (primary and secondary research, campaign analytics, attribution metrics, etc.) to inform and support research insights
Socializing research plans and findings across the organization
Proactively shaping market research prioritization and implementation through collaboration with cross-functional partners across Marketing and Product

      About you:

Hands-on experience independently designing and running both quantitative and qualitative research from beginning to end, including questionnaire / discussion guide creation, survey programming, sampling, data analysis (data cleaning, weighting, etc.), and reporting
Deep understanding of research methods such as focus groups, MaxDiff, brand tracking, segmentation, campaign evaluation, in-depth interviews, conjoint analysis, etc.
Experience with data analysis software such as SPSS or R, and survey programming tools such as Qualtrics
Experience working with cross-functional and matrixed teams
4-6+ years of marketing research / consumer insights experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or similar
Strong work ethic, excellent organization and communication skills
Love and care for your craft

        Bonus points:

Masters, MBA, or PhD in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Behavioral Economics, or similar
Knowledge of brand and advertising research
Experience working in finance, tech, or high-growth startups
Passion for working and learning in a fast-growing company

Were looking for more growth-minded and collaborative people to be a part of our journey in democratizing finance for all.
