Posting Number F000228 Position Title Adjunct Instructor of Sociology Department Sociology & Anthropology Division College of Arts & Sciences FLSA Status Exempt Faculty Status Non-Tenure Track Supervisor Title Chair, Sociology Status Tenure Track No Position Summary The Department of Sociology and Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a part-time position in sociology for the spring semester 2022. Candidates possessing a Ph.D. in sociology or related fields are preferred, but those with an M.A. in sociology and experience teaching college-level sociology courses will be considered. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence. Teaching assignments may include an Introduction to Sociology, Qualitative Methods, and Race and Ethnicity. Modality is in-person or blended.
