Job Summary
The UX Researcher will help define and drive digital product outcomes by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams and performing usability studies. Key skills include excellent written and oral communication, strong digital design and development understanding, ability to analyze and form recommendations from a variety of data sources. This role will be working closely with Design and Innovation, Product Owners, line of business partners, development team members and key leadership.

Job Accountabilities
  • Work collaboratively and communicate optimally with internal teams: AB Labs Innovation, Customer Experience, Lines of Business, Data, and Engagement.
  • Perform analysis and synthesis of research findings. Proactively analyze the insights from research sessions to identify key opportunities and integrate findings into product life cycle.
  • Support User Centered design (UCD) launch activities and post-launch monitoring, feedback and findings for digital products.
  • Assist group and enterprise (e.g. marketing, etc.) design and innovation via understanding of consumer behavior and key learnings, including customer usage/sales data.
  • Recommend appropriate research methodologies for generating needed insights at all phases of the product life cycle.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner and provide expert mentorship in conducting and synthesizing qualitative/quantitative research projects. This includes in-person moderated testing, remote moderated and un-moderated testing, surveys, heuristic reviews, card sorting and focus groups.
  • Facilitate usability testing methodologies in collaboration with colleagues, specifically the CX (Customer Experience) team.
  • Create and present financial user journeys based on current data, known assumptions, and competitive information to establish customer interaction and removal of friction and pain points.


Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Social Science, Computer Science, Design Research, Psychology, or related field combined with relevant experience Required
Experience
  • 4-6 years Experience conducting user research across digital products, services and/or interactions Required
