UX Researcher

What you'll do:

• Plan and conduct user research to uncover user needs and goals in collaboration with Senior Manager: User Experience
• Design, plan and execute research activities which may include usability tests, interviews, tree testing, surveys, card sorting, etc. Recommend methods based on research goals
• Define processes for continuous user engagement and regularly share insights
• Recruit, schedule and organize participants for user research studies; find ways to streamline the admin side of user research
• Work to fully understand the user experience and create documentation such as user journey maps, personas, user flows, etc. to help illustrate what you're learning
• Find opportunities to democratize research and involve stakeholders across the organization
• Help build and maintain a central user-research insights hub
• Participate in meetings with external vendors and internal stakeholders as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a BS/BA degree preferably in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Anthropology OR equivalent professional work-related experience
• Enjoys collaboration and making connections
• Comfortable offering ideas, trying new things and learning from failed attempts
• Has a passion for learning
