The product design team is comprised of senior multidisciplinary experts,collaborating with cross-functional partnersto design novel, effective, and engaging solutionsthat help peopleimprove their health.The team plays a critical role in uncovering the market/user needs and bringing together clinical, behavioral, and data science to make key product decisions.The team works in a very generative, design-forwardand iterative way andcould be described as havinga "startup mentality;"however, unlike working at a startup, there are dedicated resources tohelp you work most efficiently and feel supported in your role.

This is a full-time position offering an exciting working environment in a rapidly growing team, competitivesalaryand great benefits. The position requires collaboration with teams and partners based in Berlin and New York, hence preference for EST and CST time zones. Residence based throughout thepandemic,residence based may be an option when the pandemic ends.Relocation may be available for this role.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities of this role, DesignStrategist/Research Lead, are to:

  • Be responsible for working in partnership with Cross-functional teams (including product owners, behavioral scientist,contentdesigners, clinical experts, data scientists,development partners,and vendors) to envision and create newdigitalproducts, services, andexperiences;
  • Designandscoperesearch, utilizinghybrid methodologies(qualitative and quantitative)touncover market landscape andstakeholderneeds;
  • Lead the end-to-end research process in product development-Generative; Evaluative and Validationresearch;
  • Partner and manage third parties to define, create and execute research studies andactivities;
  • Facilitate synthesis, generate insights&opportunities, and inform creationforproduct concepts/prototypes;
  • Translate insights into relevant frameworksand artifacts:Healthcare journey maps, user archetypes/personas,design principles,service blueprint, product requirements/roadmap etc.
  • Align product concepts and decisions to clinical and behavioral protocols and desired targets/outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional product team ensuring that you're finding the sweet spot at the intersection of business objectives, user experience, and tech/data feasibility.
  • InspiretheIntegrated Care team, advocate for insights, drive actionand impact by providingacompellingnarrative;
  • Represent the voice of the user(s) in business conversations and decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degreein psychology, sociology, anthropology or any related field of productdesign;
  • At least seven years ofrelevantexperiencein digital app development acrossindustries;
  • Experience in product development from early ideation tolaunch;
  • Track record of successfully managingproduct development projects, from exploratory and generative research tovalidationstudies,encompassingaspects of desirability, feasibility,viabilityand clinical/behavioralintervention;
  • Mastery of quantitativeresearch methods, working across a range of methodologies includingproduct instrumentation,product usage analysis,statistical analysis of surveyresults;
  • Ability to conduct andparticipate in qualitativeresearch,ethnographic interviews,synthesize and analyze quotesand useinsightsto bothinform quantitativeresearch studies and elevate them to statisticalsignificance;
  • Ability to communicate, document and present research data and findings with clear frameworks, data visualizations, actionable insights and compellingstorytelling;
  • Comfortable with working in a healthcare environment, for example consulting with healthcare professionals and clinical research teams as part of a product design and developmentprocess;
  • Comfortable with working in arecently established function and team readily adaptable to changing strategic and organizationalrequirements;
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonalskills;
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic, pragmatic, goal-oriented and with a can-do attitude.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Research& Designexperience in digital healthcarespace;
  • Experience in working closely withclinical science,behavior science and datascience;
  • Experience in either a highly effective corporate innovation team or being part of a startupbusiness;
  • Understands the unique considerations relevant to launching digital products in healthcare.
