Job Details
The Department of Health of Behavioral Sciences has an opening for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor. We are seeking a scholar with expertise in qualitative methods, who fits with the Department's multidisciplinary focus on health, broadly defined. We welcome expertise in anthropology, ethnic studies, gender studies, psychology, geography, or a related social or behavioral science field that expands the intellectual diversity of our department. The successful candidate will join a faculty active in research, grant-writing, and teaching in a program with a graduate (Ph.D.) degree and undergraduate major in public health (B.A./B.S.).
This position is a 9-month appointment on the Denver campus with a 4-course per academic year teaching expectation in the department's Ph.D. and undergraduate programs. The normal workload for this position is 40% teaching, 40% research, and 20% service.
