Lead User Experience Researcher and Strategist Remote Description HireRight is looking for a Lead User Experience Researcher and Strategist to lead gathering global insights about user needs. As a Lead UXR at HireRight, you'll become an integral part of our product organization and you will help shape our candidate and customer experiences. Your efforts will inform and inspire our ability to deliver delightful and meaningful experiences that revolutionizes verification and drug and health screenings for customers who represent top brands from around the world. Our work touches millions of users, and human-centered research is at the core of what drives us to be able to create extraordinary experiences that people love. Responsibilities * Design, coordinate, execute and monitor research activities including tool and method selection, participant recruitment, conducting remote generative and evaluative studies, and synthesizing and sharing out findings. * Identify use cases, quantify problems and be a champion for running experiments that result in innovation and exceeding our customer and candidate expectations. * Create actionable and thoughtful readouts and recommendations for continuous improvement by considering quantitative and qualitative data; behavioral analytics, A/B testing, feature-flag experiments, benchmark studies, design thinking workshops and user survey feedback. * Collaborate with designers, product managers, marketers, business managers, and technologists to transform findings into recommendations that inspire change. * Drive impact by proficiently advocating findings to a cross-functional audience. * Conduct research that will lend itself towards helping us learn how to continuously create inclusive experiences and that drives revenue and improves retention. * Bring inspiring and creative ideas into an energetic and collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. * Be relentlessly obsessed with quality, usability and accessibility. * Coordinate research strategy with outside research agencies when applicable. * Provide mentorship for more junior UXRs. Qualifications * 8+ years of experience working in startups, progressive B2B or consumer-based companies * Expert proficiency in designing and facilitating usability and qualitative studies, crafting and administering (ideally) bias-free/minimally-biased surveys and contextual studies. * Proven experience gathering research for mobile-first experiences, as well as responsive and/or Progressive Web Application product experiences. * A clear understanding of usability, user-centered design, accessibility, and web standards. * Proven experience conducting research for ancillary product touchpoints such as email, text and chat-based interactions. * Successful management of stakeholders. * A portfolio that articulates your processes and how your research has impacted users' needs and ultimately the success of the companies you've previously worked for. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Bachelor's, or an advanced degree in research-related field, such as human-factors, psychology, anthropology, or equivalent practical experience.
