Culturally, we believe that great people working together make great companies and that starting with the customer moves us forward. Community matters to us; it's fundamental to our company's growth and to the well-being of the world at large. We power communities by connecting local merchants to millions of consumers and help them grow their businesses.

  • Champion the voice of the customer in cross functional agile squads, collaborating on research goals; planning and executing research with customers and socializing findings to influence the direction of product and design decisions related to strategic initiatives.
  • Creative approach to delivering research findings with different levels of fidelity to match the audience's needs.
  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of the User Experience Research team by training others in the Design Union and in the product organization to conduct tactical level research themselves and work as a coach and consultant
  • Innovate on socializing insights throughout the organization, at all levels, including helping to create and contribute to a research repository

We're excited about you if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years' experience conducting studies; such as Ethnology, Contextual Inquiry, Usability Testing, Survey Design, and other UX Research methodologies
  • At least 2 years' of qualitative analysis and customized presentation delivery to a variety of audiences throughout the organization
  • You possess a strong point of view through the lens of a customer advocate
  • A big plus if you have a Master's degree in HCI, Design, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, Information Management Systems, Interdisciplinary studies or a related field

  • A big plus if you have quantitative research experience, e-commerce or product experience
