ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF BIOARCHAEOLOGY

 

LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Department of Sociology & Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Anthropology, effective Fall 2022. Potential candidates must have a strong record of empirical research in bioarchaeology as evidenced by peer review publications and/or external funding. We will consider candidates with topical specializations within bioarchaeology that focus on humans or hominins. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a vigorous research program and teach introductory anthropology courses, including human evolution and archeology, as well as advanced courses in their area of interest. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to partner with interdisciplinary programs across campus. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in anthropology completed by the effective starting date of employment.
