What We're Looking For
Our Franklin, TN office is seeking an Archaeology Intern for Summer 2022.
Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.
Primary Focus Will Include:
- Assists in design plan reviews and identifies environmental constraints
- Assists the project team with fieldwork, analysis, and artifact curation
- Assists the project team with technical report preparation
- Assists the project team with environmental document preparation
- Collects raw data, organizes, researches, and applies recognized tools of analysis to provide comprehensive review of the data
- Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field
- 2 years completion of program
- Previous internship experience
- Ability to work in the field at various locations under various conditions
What You'll Need
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assists project team members with various support tasks.
- Conducts basic research and data collection.
- Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in the development of presentation materials and reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School/GED or equivalent
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary degree program.
