Newport Recruiting is helping this leading firm recruit a Vice President, Custom Research for their Gaming & Technology division. This role will be based in their Los Angeles or New York City location once they're back in the office.
The Vice President will:
Partner with the Gaming and Tech business line managing all aspects of primary research for qualitative and quantitative methods
Be a passionate Gamer who is up-to-date on games services, products, and competitive developments
Think strategically and guide others in uncovering consumer insights and translate them into actionable outcomes for their clients
Be curious about gamers and gaming fans - what they think, feel, and believe, what motivates them and drives their passion
Get excited about developing, managing, and leading a team, but also rolls up their sleeves and jumps into the work
Act as an analytical story-teller who can bring data to life and build logical arguments through compelling narratives
Background Desired:
10+ years of hands-on custom insights experience - they dig templated projects and love tracking, but in this group they're all about the unique business questions, so custom experience is critical
10+ years of experience in Gaming Insights. Experience in other industries including tech and entertainment is helpful
Masters or Ph.D in a social science(e.g., Psychology, Anthropology) or Marketing
Excellent analytic, written, presentation, and communication skills
