Senior Research Public Health Analyst Child And Adolescent Research And Evaluation Program

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Perform research tasks of moderate to high technical complexity, applying standard and established theories, concepts, and techniques.
Design and lead mixed-methods evaluations, including the design development of methods of data collection.
Design and lead performance measurement and monitoring
Design and provide training and technical assistance, including learning health systems and manualizing train
Contribute subject matter expertise in community health, evaluation, youth empowerment, children and youth health, rural health, and other substantive areas
Plan/direct the preparation of proposals of high technical complexity, contract value, or strategic importance.
Conduct and analyze qualitative data, including interviews and focus groups.
Research complex public health and social issues, synthesizing information across settings (e.g. public health, health care).
Prepare project reports, prepare budgets, define costing plans and monitor project costs.
Establish project leadership role in terms of client interface, project communications and reporting.
Lead business development activities including meetings with prospective clients. Identify strategic opportunities for function and works with business development to market these opportunities
Perform work with minimal supervision/guidance from more experienced project leaders or program managers.
Contribute to scientific stature activities by participating in presentations/seminars, and presenting work/papers at conferences, and publishing in peer review publications.
Make sound decisions by weighing facts, past practice and theory, and advice from peers and supervisors.
Work with program managers on project staffing needs and project workload issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Public Health, Public Affairs, Health Policy, Health Services Research, Psychology, Sociology, Medical Anthropology or related area, combined with a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have strong experience in mixed methods evaluation design and implementation, experience in training and technical assistance, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience working as part of multidisciplinary and mixed-methods teams.
Experience in working with government clients.
Experience procuring funding through grant and/or contract mechanisms.
Strong oral and written communication.
