As a UX Researcher, you will be expected to utilize your user-centered mindset to make a significant impact on the end-to-end product experience, and you will own the experience for a wide area of the Hiretual product. This is a hands-on research role. You will be the first UX Researcher, to establish the process and workflow.
Your main responsibilities include:
Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers and the leadership team to identify important research questions
Design and execute studies that address both user behavior and pain points, using the right methodology for the right questions
Collect and analyze user behavior through surveys, user interviews, online experiments, usability tests, heuristic evaluation, competitive/comparative analysis, and so on
Generate insights using a user centered approach to influence how product teams think about medium and long-term product strategy
Communicate insights in creative and compelling ways through well-written reports and in-person presentations
Requirements
You should have:
BA/BS in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
2-5 years of experience in enterprise user experience research, working within applied research systems. (SaaS and recruiting industry experience is a plus!)
Strengths in quantitative/qualitative user-centered design methods
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated strong user empathy
A portfolio demonstrating your capabilities is a big plus
