Nonprofit Development and Social Media Internship with Arts/Environmental Consulting Firm
Boutique consulting firm working with arts, culture, and environmental nonprofits seeks intern to learn fundraising, including prospect research, grantsmanship, and social media marketing. Three to five days a week, flexible. Candidates of diverse backgrounds and all personality types, including introverts, encouraged to apply.?
Preferred degrees/demonstrated areas of interest: Writing, English, psychology, graphic design, visual arts, sculpture, media arts, art history, anthropology, sociology, dance, photography, theater, environmental studies, marketing, and/or communications.
Experience: ?Prefer a candidate possessing experience with non-profits/higher ed, particularly in marketing or development. Applicants will NOT be asked to solicit for funds in any way. This is an administrative development support position designed to provide training, experience, and networking opportunities. Applicants should be competent in MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with desk-top publishing and/or blogging a plus. Strong writing ability required.
Education: ?Recent college graduates preferred and can serve this internship while seeking full-time, paid employment elsewhere.?
