*This role typically is located in either our downtown Chicago office or our Lake Forest headquarters, but due to COVID-19 will be fully virtual until further notice. Once these office locations have a return to work plan, the team member will be required to be on-site.

Responsibilities

The SeniorUser Experience (UX) Analyst is responsible for developing a deep understanding of the customer experience in digital channels to help support multiple product teams in making impactful, user experience data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will be assertive, personable, and a self-starter, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks across multiple teams. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with internal business partners.

  • Propose and champion user experience improvements based on qualitative and quantitative user experience data analysis
  • Work closely with Product and User Experience Teams in execution of UX data and measurement strategies across a range of digital products and platforms
  • Derive insights through analysis and translate into actionable recommendations for various stakeholders
  • Communicate insights and recommendations in a clear, concise and compelling story, evangelizing the voice of the user
  • Identify and establish qualitative metrics for customer pain points and track metrics as improvements are implemented
  • Present information and insights using data visualization best practices
  • Work collaboratively with the Product Teams and UX to ensure comprehensive coverage of Session Replay applications on our digital publications
  • Maintain internal customer panel for use in UX research projects

    Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a social science research-related field or research-based discipline such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Psychology, Cultural Anthropology, or comparable work experience
  • Three to five years' experience using qualitative and quantitative UX research methods such as survey research and web analytics to gather user experience insights and analyze user behavior
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport, establish credibility, and work as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders through accountability, following up on requests and delivering on commitments
  • Analytical thinking and storytelling - able to extract insights from structured and unstructured data and communicate in a way that motivates change
  • Fully adept with storytelling with data, storytelling styles, delivery mechanisms, tools, and visualizations and presenting to cross-functional teams, across an entire product organization
  • Preferred Experience with advanced analytics abilities within Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with digital tools (Office Suite, Slack, Teams, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of website development
  • Experience with web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Preferred Experience with Tealeaf or other session replay software
