Job Summary:
NV5 is seeking a full-time National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Analyst for our Albuquerque, NM office. The analyst will assist with planning and environmental projects.

• Assist with environmental projects and work with planners, scientists and cultural resource specialists (including historians and archaeologists), assigned to the New Mexico and Southwest region offices
• Establish, maintain and monitor schedules, budgets and staffing for projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and of the highest quality.
• Maintain and expand client relationships.
• Assist with marketing NV5 to existing and other potential clients to obtain new contracts.
• Prepare NEPA documents including categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, and environmental impact statements.
• Assist with public involvement activities including preparing meeting materials, organizing and facilitating public meetings, and preparing public meeting summaries.

• Bachelor's degree in planning, civil engineering, environmental sciences, geography, or other related field; or Master's Degree in Biology, Archeology, Anthropology or other environmental science
• AICP certification a plus.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in planning or environmental services
• NEPA experience required.
• NMDOT experience a plus
• Knowledgeable about plant and animal identification in the Southwest
• Strong problem solving and planning skills
• Experience in managing tasks and leading field efforts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat; Arc-GIS a plus
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment
