Position Summary:

The Department of Anthropology at Rollins College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology, one year with the possibility of extending for a second year. We seek applicants with a PhD in Medical Anthropology, with knowledge or experience in public health encouraged. Geographical area of specialization is open. Applicants must be able to teach courses for both the Anthropology Department and our Global Health Program. Candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in cultural and medical anthropology, global health, and public health; other possible courses might include courses related to the applicant’s specialty, in addition to classes for Rollins’ general education program. We seek applicants who share our commitment to community engagement and social justice.

Applicants must have PhD in hand by September 1, 2021. Teaching experience is preferred.
