We are looking for a dynamic innovation strategy manager to join our multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers and strategists to help us invent and implement preferred futures for visionary clients around the world. You should be curious, detail oriented, and an amplifier of project teams throughout the organization.

We come from diverse backgrounds - anthropology, architecture, philosophy, brand and marketing, industrial design, urban planning, and psychology to name a few.

What You Will Do

Leading the coordination and administration of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, designers, strategists, and stakeholders in a way that leads to transformative ideas and preferred futures.

Leading the synthesis of multiple work streams into a coherent and powerful narrative about the future.

Continually seeking opportunities to help us work in smarter and more effective ways.

Scoping and writing proposals for new client engagements. Imagining new ways of working and delivering project scopes that clients will be excited about.

Working side-by-side with account team leaders to discuss and implement changes to project and account dynamics and strategy, and to identify new business opportunities.

Delivering projects on time and on budget.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate these characteristics

Compelling written and spoken communication. (Graphic skills a plus.)

High degree of flexibility, ability to work on multiple projects at once

You are aself-starter,quick learnerand have an entrepreneurial spirit.

Your Qualifications

Relevant education and/or 5 - 7 years of experience at a design or innovation consultancy in a lead project management or operations role

Demonstrated experience as a client-facing advisor

A passion for and working knowledge of the design research and innovation process

Familiarity with design research methodologies and processes

High degree of flexibility, ability to work on multiple projects at once

Experience negotiating project scope, fees, managing project financial performance, and ensuring fiscal responsibility for projects

Understanding and thirst for new economic models and partnership opportunities

Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard , Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.
