FMG is seeking an intelligent, motivated, and experienced consulting manager to join our organizational and workforce consulting practice. This job is best suited for an individual with a consulting background and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate continuously strives to learn and develop and enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment. This individual's primary responsibilities would be to provide subject matter expertise in the area of organizational and workforce consulting.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provides strategic consultative advice to client management teams. Responsible for building strong relationships with client teams and ensuring excellent client management.
  • Oversees the planning and development of client efforts including competency modeling, organizational redesign, workforce planning, employee engagement efforts, workforce and leadership development, and business process improvement.
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects throughout their entire lifecycle (i.e., design, execution, analysis, reporting), including monitoring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Provides customized business-focused objective advice, expertise to create value and improve business strategy, internal processes and performance.
  • Stays abreast of industry changes and best practices as related to the client function and ensures organizational efficacy regarding any relevant changes.
  • Work on business development efforts, proposals, shaping work, and organic growth.
  • Opportunity to work on white papers and evolve our methodologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required in areas such as industrial organizational psychology, industrial engineering, business and administration, sociology, anthropology, public policy or other related technical or liberal arts fields.
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience in a consulting environment.
  • Must possess core consulting skills including logical storyboarding, analytical skills, strong writing skills, strong presentation skills, creation of high-quality deliverables for clients, managing ambiguity, and fostering and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project.
